 DOLLS ARE ART!  Dolls are sometimes not considered art by the general public and the larger art community. Well-executed dolls require mastery of far more artistic skill than those required of, say, a painter.  Doll making and designing requires, painting, sculpting, wig-making, costuming and engineering, among other skills.
